Blackman Residence

The Blackman Residence was an extensive remodel (interior/exterior) with a new timber frame entry addition. The entire home is reclad with new horizontal wood siding.

In the interior we created an open layout in the existing portion of the home to bring in more light. We used a minimalist approach in all of the spaces, celebrating a warm palette with mountain vernacular materials (timbers/wood/metal/stone).

The home now has a nice flow and cohesive/holistic feel inside and out that brings a consistency to the language and pattern of the structure that was missing before.
